Purpose
Child Evangelism Fellowship is an evangelical, Bible-centered mission whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Vision
Guiding a new generation that seek to honor God.
Mission
To enlist, equip and encourage a team of qualified leaders who will effectively fulfill the purpose of Child Evangelism Fellowship, expanding the work throughout the USA
Method
The primary ministries are Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs and Mailbox Club. Other CEF ministries include: Christian Youth in Action, Camp Good News, Party Clubs, JYou Connection, fairs and open air.
From the desk of the director
It's been a long time since I had a chance to sit down and write to you about all that our awesome God is going here in the high desert chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship. We ended the school year with 22 Good News Clubs, 1,048 children were enrolled and 369 children received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Two new Good News Clubs began they are Cypress School of the Arts in Hesperia and Baldwin Lane in Big Bear. The sad news is that four Good News Clubs closed at the end of the school year because teachers had to move. They are Baldy Mesa, Phelan, Vista Verde and Heritage all in the Snowline School District. Pray for teachers and helpers to keep these clubs open in 2010-2011. As we do every year we had a booth at the Victorvill Fair Grounds. We had many volunteers that spend four hours in the booth telling adults, teens and children about the Lord Jesus Christ. 375 visited the booth and 82 received Jesus. In February we taught Teaching Children Effectively, six students enrolled. One TCE 1 graduate will be teaching a Good News Club at Pinon Hills Elementary School beginning this fall. Isn't our God Awesome!!! I am so blessed to be your director here in the high desert but I can't do it alone, I need your prayers and financial support to continue reaching the children for Christ.
