Purpose
Child Evangelism Fellowship is an evangelical, Bible-centered mission whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Vision
Guiding a new generation that seek to honor God.
Mission
To enlist, equip and encourage a team of qualified leaders who will effectively fulfill the purpose of Child Evangelism Fellowship, expanding the work throughout the USA
Method
The primary ministries are Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs and Mailbox Club. Other CEF ministries include: Christian Youth in Action, Camp Good News, Party Clubs, JYou Connection, fairs and open air.
From the desk of the director
In my last newsletter I wrote that a few Good News Club's in the Snowline School District closed because teachers moved and there were no teachers available to take over these Good News Club's. Well Good News, Our God answered prayer. Pinon Hills Elementary, Bald Mesa, and Heritage will re-open in this fall 2010. More good news Thomson Elementary School in Barstow will also begin in September. At the beginning of 2010 Baldwin Lane Elementary School in Big Bear City began. The Lord is blessing the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship. In 2009 ten million children heard the gospel of Jesus Christ through Child Evangelism Fellowship world wide. 1,048 heard the gospel in the high desert through our chapter. What an awesome God we serve. Please continue to pray that more Good News Club's will open in the high desert. To do that we need more trained Good News Club teachers and lots of helpers. If you or someone you know would like to teach or help at one of the clubs you can contact CEF/High Desert at the address or email below. Visit the teacher training page for information on our training class Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 classed will begin September 13, 2010, in Hesperia CA. Please continue to pray that more churches would partner with us in reaching the children of the high desert with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We need your prayers and financial help to reach every child around the corner and around the world.
